LabelDirect ZPL Compatibility Guide
LabelDirect ZPL is compatible with Zebra printers and printers from other manufacturers that support the ZPL printer language. ZPL support may be built in, provided through an emulation mode or available only on selected models.
Zebra offers one of the industry’s most comprehensive ranges of thermal label printers, from compact desktop models to high-performance industrial and mobile printers. LabelDirect ZPL is compatible with all current Zebra printers.
TSC offers a comprehensive range of desktop, industrial and mobile label printers. Thanks to TSC’s excellent implementation of ZPL emulation, LabelDirect ZPL is fully compatible with the current TSC printer range.
Honeywell offers a range of desktop, industrial and mobile label printers. Selected Honeywell models support ZPL through the ZSim2 printer language.
SATO offers a range of desktop, industrial and mobile label printers. Selected models support ZPL through SATO’s SZPL printer language.
Toshiba TEC offers a range of desktop, industrial and mobile label printers. Selected models include built-in ZPL emulation, enabling them to process ZPL output from LabelDirect ZPL.
Citizen offers a range of desktop, industrial and mobile label printers. Selected models include built-in ZPL emulation, with Citizen’s Cross-Emulation technology automatically recognising incoming ZPL data.
Brother offers a range of desktop, industrial and mobile label printers. Selected models include built-in ZPL emulation.
BIXOLON offers a range of desktop, industrial and mobile label printers. Selected models support ZPL through BIXOLON’s BPL-Z printer language, with some models automatically recognising the incoming printer language.
Cab offers a range of desktop and industrial label printers, together with specialist printing and print-and-apply systems. Selected current models include built-in ZPL emulation, which can be enabled to process incoming ZPL print data.
Avery Dennison offers a range of tabletop barcode and RFID label printers. Selected Monarch models can process ZPL using Avery Dennison’s Monarch Language Interpreter (MLI).
Printronix Auto ID offers a range of desktop, industrial and enterprise label printers. Selected models support ZPL through Printronix’s built-in ZGL printer-language emulation.
GoDEX offers a range of desktop, industrial and mobile label printers. Selected models support ZPL through GoDEX’s GZPL printer language.
